Google has added a new feature to its venerable Google+ offering. Communities promote discussion about any topic you can think of and allows groups of people to help moderate the discussion. This new feature is in some ways more dynamic and simpler than their existing “page” feature and appears to designed promote more discussion and group interaction.
By no means is this a new idea, for instance, Yahoo! has had groups for years that have a similar function to Google+ communities. However, the difference might be in the execution and the simplicity.
